Core Beliefs
The core beliefs of First Baptist Church of Clovis are those truths that we consider essential for the Christian faith to exist and are essential for true Christ followers to believe. A newer believer may not have a full comprehension of these truths, but if someone were to argue against any of these key doctrines we would consider them in opposition to the historic orthodox Christian faith. All members of FBCC are required to reaffirm their commitment to these truths every two years.

Ethical Positions
There are a number of ethical positions that we feel it is pertinent for us to specifically address. We submit all our thoughts and beliefs on all ethical positions to the teaching of scripture and scripture is our ultimate guide. Our ethical positions paper does not address every ethical position we hold. For example, we do not explain our position on murder. We believe murder is wrong, as do the vast majority of people. So we do not feel it necessary for us to specifically address. The topics addressed in our ethical position document are those where the culture at large may disagree with the teaching of scripture.
