Our FBCC Children’s Ministry exists to lead an ever increasing number of kids into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this through Sunday morning and Tuesday evening classes, as well as encouraging parents and providing resources to assist them in their role as the primary spiritual influence in the home.

On a Sunday morning you will be warmly greeted in our Children’s check in/out area where your child will be whisked away to join the music and worship in one of our large group settings. After large group is finished, kids will head to their classrooms for Bible story and fun activities. On Sundays, kids learn about God’s big story in chronological order. We use the Gospel Project to demonstrate how God has continued to show His people mercy and grace, and how Christ has been a part of God’s plan all along. Sunday morning classes are offered for children ages birth through 5th grade during both the 9:30am and 11:00am services .
The 6th grade class, offered at 11:00, focuses on transitioning kids into our Jr. High group. Lessons are designed to help your student own their faith and build a strong foundation to withstand the pressures of adolescence. We also offer a parent/student workshop in May that helps families talk about relevant topics (like peer pressure and dating) in a fun, relaxed environment. Transitioning to junior high can be unnerving so our youth leaders visit the class and set up special events to ease 6th graders (and their parents) into 12v2 as the big day draws near!
Our youth ministry, 12v2, is a place where a person at any stage of their faith can come and learn...and have fun doing it. We are reminded by our name (Romans "12v2") not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. We love Jesus, we love His Word, and we love each other like family. There's always room for more! Come check us out at our engaging worship service on Sunday mornings or one of our weeknight services.
Our Sunday morning worship services begin at 11:00 in the Activity Center on the FBCC campus. We start off with singing some songs to praise Jesus led by a youth worship team. Then each week there is a relevant message straight from the bible. We look at the teachings of Christ, we love to read crazy stories from the Old Testament, and we seek to apply it all to our lives today.
